A little trick

If you are like me and suffer from dry hands due to air conditioning, cold weather or just general wear and tear, this trick will be very handy for you (no pun intended!).

My mum taught me this little gem when I was younger and I have used it ever since because it’s so easy, cheap and totally fool proof. All you need is a few things from the kitchen and water. SO, here goes…

All you need for this is a bowl (any size), olive oil and granulated sugar. Mix equal amounts of the oil and sugar in the bowl (you only need a little bit of each) until you have a grainy mixture.

Now rub the mixture all over your hands, giving them a good scrub

Make sure they are well coated and leave the mixture on for a minute or two to allow it to soak into the skin.

Now rinse the mixture off with warm running water and use a teeny bit of soap or hand wash to remove the excess oil.

Now, dry your hands thoroughly and enjoy the feeling of AMAZING soft, healthy looking skin.

And the best part is, you can save any leftover mixture in a small jar and use it another time OR use it as an all over body scrub or foot scrub. I find it works better than most scrubs I’ve bought, so give it a try!
