Best eyeliners

I’m a huge fan of a classic winged eyeliner look, and I’m pretty well known for rocking this look on a daily basis. It’s my go-to style and never fails to make me feel fabulous!

But finding the right eyeliner to create this look is no easy matter!  You can spend tonnes trying new eyeliners, trying and failing to find the one that is fool proof. SO, I have done all the hard work for you!

I have tried so many different eyeliners from different brands including some from budget drugstore brands and others from high end beauty counters. However, these 4 have really made an impact and have managed to be a constant fixture in my makeup bag because nothing else compares. They’re all slightly different, but all work insanely well in their own way.

First up, Smashbox limitless liquid liner pen in Black. This is my favourite for creating a thin, delicate line as the nib is very thin and precise. It is like a felt tip style formulation delivering a solid, black line which doesn’t fray, smudge or fade due to its flexible waterproof formula. It’s pricey at around £25 RRP but so worth it!!

Maybelline Lasting Drama gel eyeliner, black. Comes in a little jar with a small precision brush, which creates the perfect line every single time. The gel formula means it’s super durable and easy to apply as there’s no drag, and I kid you not, it lasts ALL DAY. It’s waterproof and sweat proof and has been tested on holidays, at the gym and even while watching “Marley and me” (the tears were in full flow!) and it just doesn’t budge! Such a bargain too at £6.99 RRP.

Charlotte Tilbury Rock ‘n’ Kohl Iconic liquid eye pencil, Barbarella Brown. I use this incredible eye pencil most days. It’s soft, durable and the colour is great for a naturally soft look. This pencil won’t drag like most eyeliner pencils do, and creates a line that looks like liquid but comes in the ease of a pencil. What’s not to love!? Again it’s a bit pricey at £19 RRP but it’s just so good, I can’t recommend it enough.

Finally, Urban Decay 24/7 glide-on eye pencil, zero. I love this eyeliner not just for it’s waterproof formulation which really works, but also its huge array of colours to choose from. It’s available in super wearable shades of black, bronze and brown as well as bright colours and neons if you fancy it. It’s easy to use, smooth and super long lasting, but is better if you’re going for more of a smokey look as the formulation is quite thick and easy to smudge if you want to. RRP £15.

  1. Love the Smashbox liner too! Used it for a long time until they stopped selling it at ULTA! Then I switched to Stila’s stay all day liquid liner. Have you tried that one? It’s holy grail! Xx
