Airport dressing

We all know how long winded and tedious being at the airport can be. You spend hours standing around waiting in queues for more more queues, to the point that you actually spend longer at the airport than you do on the flight!

So all that waiting around requires a comfy outfit with all bases covered. I’ve decided on a dress this time because it’s so warm today and I know it will be warm when I get there.

I chose this Urban Outfitters grey marled jersey dress as its stretchy, soft and super comfy as well as loose. The fabric won’t crease while I’m sitting on the plane for hours which is great. I paired it with my new TOM’S cloud print espadrilles. These shoes are SO COMFORTABLE, literally like walking in slippers, and the lace up ankle reminds me of my ballet days. To finish I put on my wide brim hat from H&M as I didn’t want to pack it and my 2 favourite necklaces from my mum. It’s a very simple outfit, and ideal for the long day ahead.

I kept my makeup simple too, with a light dusting of Bare Minerals powder foundation, a little Revlon blush, classic winged liner and finished off with my MAC lipstick in Twig.

Hopefully it’ll last me all day, unlike my manicure which is chipping already. Bad times!
