I went out last night and thought my makeup looked pretty good, so wanted to share my look with you all.
For this look, I was going for a radiant, lightly bronzed base with defined eyes and a bold lip. I wanted to wear my Charlotte Tilbury lipstick as I haven’t really used it much and it thoroughly deserved to be shown off. I also just came back from my holidays so I have a (fading) light tan that I wanted to make use of.

I started with my base, as I like to have my base perfected before I start on my eyes. I smoothed the Benefit Porefessional primer all over my face, focusing on my eyelids and t zone especially. I then applied the Charlotte Tilbury foundation with my fingers and worked in the excess with the Real Techniques contour brush. Now I’m aware it’s the wrong brush, but I find it leaves a very soft, light effect to the base. I then lightly brushed on the mineral veil with my big powder brush to set and swirled the Guerlain terracotta bronzer onto my cheeks, and swept it across my forehead, along my jawline and lightly down my nose. Using the Real Techniques Buffer brush, I brushed on a little Topshop shimmer bronzer to my cheekbones, hairline and down the centre of my nose. This adds a really beautiful illuminating effect to your face. I finished off the base with a tiny dab of the YSL Babydoll lip and cheek colour just to give a healthy pop.
Moving onto my eyes, I used my real techniques eyeshadow brush to sweep on the second shade in the Revolution pallette which is a light rosey gold colour and applied it to the whole socket and dabbed it into the corner of my eyes to open them up. I followed this with the fifth shade which was smudged into the socket crease. I used my Smashbox liner to create a classic feline flick before combing the Rollerlash through my lashes. I filled my brows as normal with the Benefit Brow Zings.
Finally I finished up with the lip, carefully lining my whole lips with the liner and filling with the Charlotte Tilbury lipstick. I didn’t use a lip brush because I honestly think it’s a waste of time and the colour looks better straight from the stick. I blotted, reapplied and then dusted with a little bit of mineral veil to seal.
