Body Shop limited edition Christmas collection

Christmas is a time for amazing scents. It’s just a fact! The smell of mulled wine, cinnamon, pine and crackling fires. It’s magical, and many brands release special Christmas products to enhance that joy.

I decided to pop into the Body Shop in search of some Christmas goodies as I do every year, and spotted that they had limited edition Christmas collections happening. I might be late to the party here, but this is the first time I’ve seen these magical little Christmas goodies, and I was so excited to try them, I actually ended up buying stuff for myself and forgetting the presents, oops. BUT, I did go back another time and get the presents I intended to… Just saying haha.

So what did I discover? Well, there are 2 collections this Christmas, the Frosted Cranberry and Frosted Apple ranges. Both of them smell UNREAL!! I decided to get the lip balms, Frosted Apple shower gel and Body butter and Frosted cranberry hand cream.

I am a self confessed lipbalm hoarder, and am always on the look out for a really good lip balm that not only keeps lips soft, but also smells great and lasts well. I’ve always had good experiences with Body Shop lip balms as they are super nourishing and made from natural products. These limited edition ones are no exception. The tins are a bit larger than the standard body shop lip balm pots and contain a lot of product which is great! The scent is amazing and the balm actually lasts ages on the lips and isn’t glossy or shimmery so it’s great under or over lipstick. Very pleased! These would make a fantastic stocking filler!

The hand cream is another go-to product of mine. I have been using the Pink grapefruit one for around 6 months now and used the cocoa one before that. The cream is super moisturing, sinks into skin really fast and leaves my skin soft and smooth. It’s a real life saver if you have dry hands like me, and especially in the cold weather! This cranberry one is to die for! It smells so, so good and does the same job. I think I need to stock up on a few tubes of it before it’s discontinued, I love it that much!!

The showergel and body butter came as a set, and I got them simply because I liked the scent and wanted to give them a go. I’m not usually a shower gel person and prefer using a moisturising cream or body bar, and this one didn’t really do it for meC simply because I find shower gel very drying. It smells lovely and feels nice in the shower but it does leave my skin feeling a bit tight and uncomfortable so I’m not overly keen. The body butter, however is just lovely. The scent isn’t too strong, leaving a lighter fresher version on your skin. It also intensely moisturises and absorbs quickly with no tacky left overs on the skin. A great gift for any body butter fan!

I really like the new ranges, and I fully recommend giving them a try before Christmas is over.
