es January is almost over already! It’s gone by so fast I hardly remember it happening. But, as it’s the first month since Christmas, I have been trying to stick to a budget. I have bought a few things, and discovered a few amazing budget products along the way, so I’d love to share these items with you.
Clarks Pewter Brogues – These shoes are ADORABLE!! I spotted them on the sale rail as I walked by Clarks and had to check them out. They fit like a dream and are incredibly comfortable, and as they are Clarks I know they are good quality. Better yet, they were less than half price! Bargain!!
Canon SX710 hs camera – I actually got this just before Christmas to replace the camera I had stolen in Amsterdam last year. It’s a really light, compact camera by takes INCREDIBLE photos and HD videos. I used it for my Niece’s first Christmas and first birthday and it took some beautiful shots. I just love it!
Karen Millen prescription sunglasses – Now I wear glasses full time, it’s pretty difficult on sunny days because wearing normal sunglasses means I have limited vision, so getting these was a blessing. Not only are they prescription so I can see even on the sunniest of days, but they are bloody beautiful too!! They are a classic cat eye style, leopard frames with a gorgeous electric blue highlight. I adore them.
Fragrance Library perfumes in ‘Gin and Tonic’ and ‘Cherry Blossom’ – I love perfume, there’s no denying it. I wear perfume every single day, but I get bored of the same one everyday. I have seen these here and there, and not really paid much attention, but I decided to have a go and smell a few and ended up with these 2 yummy fragrances. Gin and Tonic is a fresh, slightly sharp fragrance, while Cherry Blossom is a sweet floral style scent. The bottles are small and neat, and fit perfectly into your handbag.
Clarins eclat minute in 07 – words cannot describe how much I love this!! It’s the best lipbalm I’ve ever used, and I want it in every colour!
Skull Candy Navigator tortoiseshell headphones – I had the Knockout version of these headphones before Christmas, but accidentally broke them, and have since bought 4 different pairs of headphones from other brands and not been happy with them. So, I turned back to Skull Candy and came across the Navigators which are very similar, but sooo stylish and the sound is great. They are comfy, sound brilliant and look great on and off. Very happy with these!
Rimmel Fix and Protect primer – could it be that a drugstore primer has overthrown my favourite Benefit Porefessional? It looks that way! This brilliant primer is super creamy, hydrating, beautifully matte and also contains SPF 25. It keeps my base in place effortlessly, and makes my skin feel silky smooth.
Collection Extreme liquid liner pen – this liner surprised me so much!! It was £2.99, so I didn’t expect much, but MY WORD it’s good! It goes on so easily and precisely, and lasts all day with no fading, fraying or running. I absolutely love it! An absolute must buy if you like a cat eye flick.
Maybelline Sensational mascara in Very Black – I needed a mascara to give Benefits rollerlash a run for its money, and I found it in this mascara. The brush lifts, separates and fans lashes making them appear longer and fuller instantly. It’s very intensely black, and feels soft on the lashes unlike some mascaras which can feel dry and heavy. I have been using it everyday and really enjoy it.
I hope you have enjoyed looking at my January favourites, and will give a few of them a try.
