Keeping it simple

Recently I’ve really started to appreciate very simple outfits. I’ve been sticking to a very narrow colour palette (mainly black, white, grey, neutrals and a few blues here and there) and keeping the complexity of my outfits much simpler. I find it makes getting ready a lot quicker and I feel much more comfortable! Less to faff around with, means more time to have fun! So here is my current OOTD featuring my new favourite tshirts!

I was away in Blackpool this weekend celebrating my dad’s birthday, and needed to be comfy. My choice for the day included my new favourite ASOS Forever Tshirt in grey (I got a 2 pack with the white one included), which I actually bought in the tall range because I like them a bit longer. I’m 5ft 5″ tall, so barely in the tall range, but surprisingly the longer option looks better! These tshirts are lovely to wear. They are super soft, light and sit beautifully. I have now ordered the black one too to complete the set!

Underneath the tshirt, I’m wearing my beloved Topshop black Jamie jeans with their signature high waisted it, super skinny leg and stretchy fit. These jeans are so comfy and just look great with everything, and unlike most black jeans, they don’t fade after a couple of washes!!
The star of the outfit is clearly the shoes. I love these shoes so much! They are the Miss KG footbed sandals. I have an odd relationship with sandals as I don’t like toes (it’s a long story), but I don’t even mind while wearing these because they just look so good on! These little beauties are not only super stylish with their tie up ankle, platform sole and suede strap details, but they are also incredibly comfy. I wore these all weekend walking back and forth along the Blackpool sea front and even wore them all day at the theme park with no trouble at all. Perfect!
