Autumn is finally approaching… though it seems like Summer wants to have its last Hurrah with crazy hot temperatures hitting London in the last few days. But the transition is on it’s way, and I’ve been picking up items for my Autumn/winter wardrobe gradually over the last few weeks.
So, I’m starting a mini blog series called “seasonal style”, showing you different outfits I have been wearing during the transition between summer and autumn, and how I style them with accessories. So let’s get to it with outfit one!
Outfit One – Greyscale
At the moment I’m having a serious love affair with grey tones. Of course I’d never give up wearing black, because black is life, but grey is a happy medium between the crisp whites of summer and the blacks of winter.
This outfit is perfect for Autumn! The simplicity of the dress means it can be dressed up or down and can be worn with bare legs on the warmer days or layered over tights and a long sleeve roll neck in the winter. It’s a cool spin on the regular tshirt dress, and the fabric is superb quality.
I kept this outfit very simple as I wanted a casual vibe, so I kept the accessories very minimal and stuck to grey tones to tie it all in. My makeup was kept simple and fresh with a tinted moisturiser and glow enhancing powder.
